Product Information

I always use sterling silver in my jewellery making with just a few pieces being made from fine silver. Sterling silver has a silver content of 92.5% silver and fine silver has a silver content of 99.9% silver.

My silver items are not hallmarked if the silver content is below the weight required by UK law. Should the silver content be above this weight, then the piece will be hallmarked at the Birmingham Assay Office, bearing my Sponsor Mark 'J.V', the Standard Mark showing the standard of fineness, i.e. purity of the precious metal content, and the Assay Office Mark - the Anchor being the symbol of the Birmingham Assay Office.

Some jewellery may contain pre-made sterling silver items such as chains, clasps, jump rings or ear hooks. These sterling silver pre-made items may show a sterling silver mark.

I use a lot of copper and brass in my jewellery ~

both metals are quite susceptible to oxidation from the natural atmosphere. I do enclose a sample cleaning cloth with each purchase which will bring back the gorgeous glow to the metal.

I like to use a variety of beads ~ sterling silver, semi precious gemstones and Swarovski pearls.

All pendants will be held on sturdy sterling silver chain or leather cord, which will be finished with sterling silver findings.
